LLE Tips Part 2

Test Day

Our testing day was November 3 and 4 (Sunday to Monday), 2013. I came from my boyfriend's house in Diliman, QC (stayed there 2 nights before the exam for the final review and since it was more convenient than coming from the condo in Fairview).

So anyway, here are the life hacks that will surely make your LLE experience less nerve-wracking and more efficient and convenient:

1. WAKE UP EARLY

So you won't be late. Nuff said.

2. WEAR WHITE TOP WITH COLLAR.

It's required. No sleeveless tops and shorts/mini skirts. Some said you cannot wear blouses or polo shirts with front pockets. This is totally untrue! I wore one but nobody forced me to go home naman.

3. DONT FORGET THE ESSENTIALS

I got this photo from another blog post intended for Engineering majors.

This is missing a few items - a metered-stamp window envelope (which you can get either from PRC or from the proctor), a black marker (optional), a good eraser (your test might be invalidated if you shaded two answers for one question) and a pencil sharpener (you need this from all that shading). You may also bring in packed lunch and snacks you can munch on while taking the test but there's a pop-up cafeteria inside the school and a 7-Eleven outside the gates, too.

4. REVIEWING IN BETWEEN TESTS IS OKAY!

I brought my review notes and some papers and books I haven't read yet so I can still cram bits of knowledge during the breaks. It proved helpful 'cos I encountered some questions I only knew the answer to when I skimmed through the papers on the test day itself.

5. IT'S NOT A SUBMISSION MARATHON!

Remember -- you do not get a finisher's medal every time you pass your answer sheet first. Nobody won't even shout BIGYAN NG JACKET for you. Because honey, this isn't a race. There might even be drawbacks to that. Here's what I did:

First, I encircled my answers on the test questionnaire. After finishing all questions, I transferred my answers to the answer sheet while reviewing each item. After I've shaded all items on the answer sheet, I double checked if the encircled answers in the questionnaire were the same as those shaded on my answer sheet. Lastly, I did a final review of all my answers before I submitted.

So if you could use all of the allotted time til the very last second, do so. Might be more beneficial for you. :)
